Why because I refused their recommendation false services. It's a new truck and didn't need major services, they tampered with the brakes. 2 days later drove the truck and it started causing me problems. They dismantled the timer that informed me when Services need to be done. Not being the they changed parts on my truck, and replaced them with bad parts. I refused, then he was mad and told me that they don't have the tools to changed the oil. He went ahead without my permission and did it anyway, then told me what the cost is. Because they diagnosed my vehicle which I continously telling them that I don't need that service, just oil changed. Last November, 2022, I took my 2018 Toyota for oil changed, they kept me waiting for 2hrs. We are still looking into why it is now dripping oil. JL paperwork showed that all fluid levels were good. The RAV was making noises when we turned the steering wheel. After we use our coupons, we have no plan of ever returning to JL. We took the offer, we didnt want to hassle with small claims. The manager of our local JL in canyon country CA offered us $108 of free oil changes. They finely responded with we have trained professionals although JL had no explanation as to the off brand oil filter and the cracked oil pan. I wrote a 2nd letter and threaten small claims. I went to corporate and let them know our story. $300 later our mechanic said JL had over tightened the drain bold and cracked the pan. We took the Honda back to JL and they said the oil pan gasket is bad. We also had the oil changed in the RAV and it was now leaking. We got the car home and it left a 1ft pool of oil on the driveway. We determined it was the wrong filter because JL didnt change the filter on our previous visit. Mechanic argued that JL (Jiffy lube) didnt do the last oil change because it isn't our oil filter. The mechanic changing the Honda oil said Whoever changed the oil last left the bolt loose. The Honda was on its 2nd oil change and the RAV its 1st. It is recommended to reach to this Jiffy Lube as an example of how customers should be treated especially when there are so many other options. For the subpar Jiffy lubes out there based on some reviews here. My best experience getting an oil change. I do see some bad reviews here that are also honest. Another technician saw my coolant was on the low side and topped it off. I was in and out in 15 minutes with everything done exactly that was needed and requested. While this was going on a worker was washing my windows. Then the other technician changed the headlight. So they topped off my transmission fluid. It may have something to do with your dipstick poping out issue. Then another technician said your transmission fluid is low. "We have $10 off wipers this weekend, make sure to subtract it". All of a sudden one of the workers said to the person handling my bill. And my transmission dip stick for some reason pops out. I noticed my front headlight would go on and off. I went to jiffy lube for a long over due oil change.
